“It’s sports. The city wants to win. Everything is fair game… Except the fans who booed my children. Other than that, I loved the atmosphere and the booing just gave my husband more fire. The more you love, the more you hate. I consider it all love going both ways.”

“And now that we are out… I hope the Lions bring home a Lombardi to that city because that feeling is like no other. Go get it.”

  1. I was so upset that Lions fans would boo Stafford. He was a great Lion during his time and he and his wife Kelly gave so much to our city and fans. Kelly’s response just showed what a wonderful person she is. Her attitude is commendable. And booing in front of their darling girls was shameful..

  2. Yes it was just a game but booing their children is the wrong thing to do, what’s wrong with those people! Matthew is a competitor, I love that guy for his accomplishments and what he did here…. Gotta love them 😍

  3. Booing the Stafford children was above and beyond ridiculous and has no business in professional sports. Besides the game itself the best video I seen was that of Martha Ford interacting with Kelly Stafford and the Stafford four girls. You could see the love and respect the Ford family has for the Stafford Family!

  4. I think Stafford has always been a class act and his wife is fantastic. Detroit fans need to realize they acted like spoiled children themselves, especially when they booed the kids. This was an insult to our beautiful city!

  5. I’m sure Kellies children didn’t even notice the boos plus with your new million dollar mansion in LA I’m sure they will get over it.

    • If there is such a thing as booing as a sign of both respect and love, that was it at Ford field. NOBODY was booing the Stafford clan with hate it was all in love and competitive sportsmanship.
Any of you that push any other narrative other than that are just missing the mark.
Nothin but love and respect for Stafford:)

  6. It was wonderful to have the Stafford’s back in Detroit! The Rans have always been a very powerhouse team! There is never a need to boo, however so many people do! Then again, so many fans sit and pray all season long for the Lions to always win the game!

  7. She was trying to be a smart-ass when she says I hope you can get a LeBron trophy cuz you just never know the feeling it’s a more or less she’s got one we don’t trying to be sneaking up for saying she’s got one we don’t that’s no f****** sincere apology she’s just trying to be Sly under the radar and if you can’t read between the lines you’re an idiot too

  8. You think we’re bad if I’m staying on a big stage like in New York your family would have been booed and your kids you know you’d have seen what f****** straight up loyalty to what a team missing somebody so don’t come at us like we were f****** the bad people you f****** idiots

  9. And I do apologize for my profanity I have I just get really upset with people trying to be shady and manipulative like she is and Matthew Stafford I’ll be at Detroit all I got to say is kiss our ass

  10. Can’t be serious. Stop trying to make yourself a story. Most people have no idea who you are when we see you at a game. You’re a fan of our opponent, period. For you to be disrespectful to the city/fans who made it possible for you to try and act like your important with your podcast… Honestly embarrassing, you want to complain about price to bring your kids to a game.

  11. This article actually gave me ideas for some t shirts..maybe next year Stafford (booford) should get boo’d more maybe he would have more 🔥 . Kelly’s ridiculous.

  12. I don’t think the boo’s were for those beautiful little girls at all. Just sportsmanship displayed as it should have been. No one dislikes Staffford, he is just the QB of the team trying to knock the Lions out of the playoffs. The Lions have come a long way!!!! All QB’s, LB, RB, WR, Center etc…… of any opposing NFL team should be booed!! And yeah I love the snarky clapback Kelly Stafford made….No worries Sweetheart!!!! Detroit’s Lombardi is waiting at the finish line for us!!!!
