Dan Campbell and Family Find New Home Following Doxxing and Harassment

According to a report from Fox 2, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell has recently relocated his family after a series of alarming security breaches at their former home. Campbell, known for his tough, no-nonsense approach on the sidelines, became a victim of doxxing after last season’s tough losses, including a particularly difficult defeat to the Dallas Cowboys.

Doxxing, which involves the public leaking of personal information, exposed Campbell’s home address in Bloomfield Township. Following the leak, Campbell and his family faced unwanted attention, including a prank where contractors were sent to his house for unnecessary repairs.

The harassment didn’t stop there. After the Lions’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers in last season’s NFC Championship, the situation escalated further, prompting Campbell and his family to file police reports with the Bloomfield Township Police Department.

Dan Campbell Remains Laser Focused

While the media has focused on these off-field incidents, Campbell remains laser-focused on his role with the Lions. When asked to comment on the recent move, he kept his response brief and pointed.

“Man, I don’t, no disrespect — I don’t even want to go there, with any of it,” Campbell said via SI. “It’s all good and I’ve got a job to do. My primary job here is to coach this team and have them prepared every week. I’ve got to do my job and that’s the sole focus.”

A New, Private Home for the Campbells

After gaining increasing notoriety in his role as head coach, Campbell and his family decided that moving was the best option to regain some privacy. Ashley Crain, founder and CEO of Crain Homes, was hired to help the Campbells find a new, more secure property.

“He’s obviously gained some more notoriety, so I think it was the smart decision for them to move,” Crain said via Fox 2. “We have created this unique boutique brokerage with concierge services that other agents aren’t providing, and we were able to sell their stunning $4.5 million home within 24 hours. It was one of those trophy properties that don’t come on the market often.”

Crain found a new, super-private home for the Campbells, and the family has already moved in. The hope is that the added security will provide the peace and privacy they deserve.

“I feel happy for them that they can have that privacy,” Crain said. “I would hope all the fans out there love him enough to give him and his family that privacy, too.”

Support from the Community

“I love our fans. Fans are unbelievable,” Campbell said via SI. “This city, there’s nowhere that I would want to be, or any other team I’d want to coach for. It’s rare to have an environment like we have, and to be able to coach here, play here, I tell our guys that all the time. This is a rare spot, and you better enjoy it, because not every place has it like we have it.”

The Bloomfield Township Police Department also addressed the security issues, emphasizing their commitment to the safety of all residents.

“The Bloomfield Township Police Department is committed to the safety of all of our residents. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. We hope that everyone, including fans, will respect the privacy of individuals and their families,” the statement read in part.

Despite the challenges, Campbell remains steadfast in his leadership of the Lions, focusing on the team’s upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals. With his family now in a safer environment, Campbell can turn his attention back to the gridiron, where his team continues to rise under his guidance.

The Lions and Cardinals will face off this Sunday at 4:25 p.m., as Campbell prepares his team for another hard-fought battle.
